Every available line, written in plain terms. Pick one, layer several, or carry the full set. Each option travels with you across your household file.
Auto coverage is often sold as a bundle of confusing tiers with little explanation of what each layer actually does on a claim. I treat every coverage line as a standalone item. Each one carries its own clear description, its own premium row inside your quote, and its own defined scope so you know exactly what activates and when.
You can carry any combination of the six lines below on a single household policy, including across multiple vehicles.
I price and describe each line independently. Combine freely across vehicles held under the same household policy file.
Settles third-party bodily injury and property damage costs once you're assigned fault for an incident. Satisfies state minimum filing requirements and can be carried at higher limit tiers.
Pays for bodywork or replacement after impact with another car, a fixed object, or a rollover of your vehicle. You pick deductible levels during quoting and they're applied before the payout figure.
Shields your vehicle from theft, vandalism, hail, flood, falling debris, fire, and animal strikes that occur outside a collision event. Often carried alongside collision on financed or leased vehicles.
Round-the-clock dispatch for towing, lockouts, jump starts, tire swaps, and fuel drops whenever your vehicle is stranded. I cover towing up to 100 miles per incident without an additional mileage charge.
Closes the coverage gap that standard personal auto policies leave open during the period your rideshare app is active but no fare has been accepted. Activates from app login through to fare completion.
Agreed-value coverage placed for vintage and collector cars. I set the insured amount at policy binding, not at depreciated claim-time value, and your vehicle retains full coverage during exhibition and transport.
Certain coverage lines naturally reinforce each other. The combinations below show how I see drivers typically layer protection across the same vehicle file.
The foundational pairing for most drivers. Addresses fault-assigned third-party costs alongside repair costs for your vehicle after any impact event.
Full physical protection against both impact and non-collision events. Typically required by lenders and lease agreements for the duration of a finance term.
Purpose-built for drivers who run rideshare alongside personal use. The rider line activates during the app-active window that standard liability does not cover.
Agreed-value protection paired with on-call dispatch. I often suggest this combination for vehicles driven seasonally or transported to exhibition events.
